<p class="Paragraph"><help:switch select="Program" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"><help:case select="WRITER">Nested changes are changes where different actions overlap in a text passage. This could occur if several authors make changes to a text position. For example, if author A inserts a text in a passage of the document and then author B deletes part of this text. If you now set the filtering criteria to see only the changes of author A, the deletion of author B also appears, because the original insertion by author A no longer corresponds to the current state of the document.</help:case></help:switch></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:switch select="Program" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"><help:case select="CALC">If several changes were carried out on a cell, these changes are summarized in an entry in the list. Click the plus sign beside this entry to view the details of the individual changes.</help:case></help:switch></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:switch select="Program" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"><help:case select="CALC">If different changes were made to a cell and at least one change satisfies the filter criteria, all changes are always displayed, regardless of the filtering criteria entered. When a filter is turned on, the different entries in the list of changes appear in color. In this case, the different colors have the following meaning:</help:case></help:switch></p>
<p class="TextInTable">The entry can be accepted or rejected but does not correspond to the filter criterion. However, there are one or more subentries that correspond to the criterion.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">A list of all recorded changes made to the document appears here. If you select an entry in the list, it will show the corresponding change in the document.</help:help-text> A multiple selection with the Ctrl - Key is also possible. <text:s text:c="" xmlns:text="http://openoffice.org/2000/text"/>You can click each entry to accept or reject it, or you can accept or reject all changes.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">You can control the view of the list as usual, e.g., sort the list by clicking the column headers, set the optimal width by double-clicking a separator line between the column headers, etc.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">In the context menu of an entry, you will find additional commands for changing the sorting order and editing the comment.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">As soon as you accept or reject a change, the entries of the list are re-ordered hierarchically, according to "Accepted" and "Rejected", in order to sort the overview.</p>

<p class="Paragraph"><help:switch select="Program" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"><help:case select="WRITER">If you create or record some changes with the AutoFormat function (via<span class="T1"> Format - AutoFormat - Apply and Edit Changes</span>), you will also notice the <span class="T1">Undo </span>button in the dialog. All changes made with the AutoFormat are listed individually and you can accept or reject each of them. <help:help-text value="visible">The <span class="T1">Undo </span>button enables you to reverse the Accept or Reject action.</help:help-text></help:case></help:switch></p>
<p class="Paragraph">There are additional commands in the <span class="T1">context menu</span> of the list:</p>

<p class="Paragraph">Calls a submenu in which you select the column by which the list is to be sorted.</p>
